A bit of everything haul!!

Went to the mall yesterday, i had a few things in mind on what i should get and the rest are just destiny :)
This blush i got from The Body Shop, its a very pretty pink, the blush is inside the cap on the right and there is a sponge on the left and you apply that to your cheek or if you would like, take your brush that you use to apply blush with and dip that into the blush inside the cap.

I had to b2m my empties and i got this little bad boy. Looks gorgeous!! This is snob, i thought snob was very similar to Saint Germain which i have, but when swatching them, they were completely different.

I love it!! Its a more wearable version of Saint Germain maybe?

I was looking high and low for something for my brows. Powders, pencils, everything. I went to Sephora and tried the Anastasia of Beverly Hills line that specializes in brows, horrible!! My brows are good they are just a tad bit too light for what i want them to be, so i fill them in very lightly with a black eyeliner. They look very natural and brown. Some browns tend to look red or orange especially in pictures and i DID NOT want that and that is all Anastasia had to offer! Big disappointment. Every powder or pencil looked very fake, unnatural or red/orange. Then i tried the MUFE eyebrow corrector, OMG. That stuff looks like you have sharpie on your brows. But i knew i would find something from MAC so i didnt get anything for my brows at Sephora. Then i went to MAC and found this black impeccable eyebrow pencil. Its specifically made for brows and if you would want it as an eyeliner it would be difficult to use since its made sheer for filling in brows. It was perfect!! The lady tried the same pencil on me but in taupe, i was afraid it might look reddish in pics but she said there is no red in it for it to show up on pics, but still i felt safer with the black. I tried it at the store and it was just what i wanted!

This is the rest of my Body Shop haul. 2 shadows and a blush and a bronzer. I dont usually go to The Body Shop, i might pop in every once in a while to see what they have . Well it turns out i checked it out yesterday and to my surprise they were ahev an amazing sale! The shadows are usually $12, the ones i got on the right. They were marked down to a $1 each!! The blushes and bronzers such as the ones on the left were $17.50 and i got them for $5 a piece. The pink blush i showed you in a separate pic was originally $14 and i got it for $8. Heres the thing, they have this thing where its 3 for $10. So i got the 2 blushes and the bronzer for $10! The computer automatically changes it, even if its $5 or $4 or $8 except the $1 items since that wouldnt be fair. The sale has been going on for a few days so you guys go check it out if you can. They also had a bunch of bath items and lotions for sale as well. I checked their website and there is a similar sale there too. Some items are already sold out.

Very pretty pigmented but soft color, i love it! Its kinda a chamagne/beige color. Beautiful if you are in a rush and just put this in your crease, very soft but noticable, it looks amazing!

Beautiful olive color.

This is the bronzer.

This is teh highlighter side. You can also use each shade as an eyeshadow as well!

This is the blush, very nice and peachy, reminds me of MAC's ripe peach kinda. The different shades can also be used as shadows.

This is the famous Buxom lash liner from Sephora. I got this in black which is leatherette. Its a black gel liner that makes your lashes grow at the same time. I already have the MAC's blacktrack fluidline but since this makes lashes grow, i was all for it. It was only $15. I hope it really works, i read some awesome reviews on this!

I also stopped by forever21, nothing really caught my eye, except these gorgeous earrings! I love hoops and i love the "diamonds" in them even more and i just had to have them.

I wanted to try out the philosophy purity face wash. I bought teh small one to see how i like it and if i do, ill go get the bigger bottle since it is a better deal kinda.

I also got this from LUSH. I totally expected it to be a conditioner but when i got home i found out it was a shampoo. I wanted teh Veganese conditioner but they were out so i looked around it and found this one and assumed it was a conditioner. Oh well. Ill see if i like it so that i could get a bigger bottle of this as well.

And this i knew it was a shampoo. Its also from LUSH, their solid shampoo. I have no idea what name it is, i think its squeaky something. It really gets the dirt and oil out of your hair since my hair tends to get oilier faster in the summer. It also lathers up really well. I tried it last night, but i used it along with the shampoo i thought was the conditioner. So ill update when i use that alone with some kind of conitoner.

MAC Haul!!!

Went to watch Get him to the greek yesterday which was right next to the mall so i decided to go to MAC real quick since i have been wanting a few things. Enjoy! And no i didnt get anything from the To the beach collection, i really dont think its all that.

The lipstick without the box was a b2m :)

Im proud to say that this is my first MAC brush!! As you saw everything else i have is Sigma which are my good brushes, Sonia Kashuk and a couple of others from either Target, Coastal Scents or unknown but work good lol. Anyways, this is the MAC 217, almost everyones favorite. I have been wanting this for a REALLY long time and finally decided to get it, after much research i felt that it was time. I have not used it yet but im very excited to :) Its one of their cheaper brushes too, it was $22.50.

This is my B2m lipstick in pink nouveau, i have also been wanting this gorgeous barbie pink for sometime now.

And this is the LE lipstick metal maven from the starflash collection. They had some in stock and im happy i got my hands on it. I have a lipgloss this same color but a bit more pigmented and im running low and i have no idea what the name of the gloss was so i saw this lipstick and was similar so i had to have it.

Finally got the MAC brush cleanser. I wanted the Sephora one but it was $6 for 2 oz. and $14 for like 4 or 5 oz. That seems stupid since all it does is clean whereas this MAC one is 7.9 oz. for $11 and it cleans, conditions, and has all these good things for your brushes so it was a no brainer, had to pick this one.

I read a lot abouit this cleanser and seen videos that people say that if you pour straight from the MAC bottle on to the napkin you will use a lot of product and go through the bottle faster, so its better to put it in a spray bottle where you use less product and have the bottle for longer and it still gets the same job done :)

Had to get my wipes, these are a staple product. I get the 45 pack because i feel like the 100 pack might get dry by the time i get to the last few wipes. And its summer and i dont like wearing foundation everyday, which means it will take even longer for them to finish and plus i only use these when im really lazy and dont feel like going to the sink.

I also picked up this prep + prime skin base which is basically a primer. I wanted to give it a go and see how it works. Will probably do an update later telling you if you should buy it or pass it.

Victorias Secret Limited Edition Safari Chic e/s

I recently stopped by VS to check out if they had anything good in their make up section. I dont own any VS makeup, it never really interested me. But i love their body sprays and "other" things :) I picked up this quad/ palette, whatever you wanna call it. I LOVE purples so of course i took this one. They had another one with green and blue colors. This one is called Safari Chic, runs for $15.00.
The packaging is so safarish, reminded me of MAC style varriors packaging and their jungle theme.

The compact is gold, looks kinda cheesy and cheap but whatever, i liked the colors.

It says on the back that these are mineral shadows. I just loved the purples!!!

And here are some swatches! They might not look super duper pigmented but with a base im sure they will look amazing! This is limited edition, so if you want one pick it up, otherwise it will be too late :(

Amazing finds at Target! Go Now!

This is what i found at my local target, i dont know if this is happening to all of them but mine had SOOOO much stuff on clearance! Essie nail polishes for like $1 sumthing. I already have enough makeup, i went to buy some make up for a friend and did manage to get a few pieces for myself. You guys will be shocked at how low these prices were, or maybe not, but i totally was lol
This is such a cute milky pink shimmery eye shadow. Was $8.49 and is now for $2.12!

This is a highlighter/bronzer, gorgeous color when combined. As you can see it was super cheap!

$1.62!!! OMG posting these pics makes me wanna go back and get more lol.

concealer for $2.48!! And it also has like vitamins or sumthing good for your under eye bags.

This polish was like $5.69 or sumthing. I thought it was such an awesome summer color. Bright and fun :)

Swap, MAC, & Marshalls Haul

A little swap i wanted to share with y'all :)
I told u guys ill be getting the smooth merge soon! OMG i can't believe i finally have it, i have been looking left and right for this and i didnt rlly want to fork out $40 for it plus shipping from ebay and other sites. But i was willing to sadly lol. I swapped it for perfect topping, since it was so alike to my perfect topping msf. I love that it has some color and its not only shimmer.

Here are the famous NARS blushes, mata hari and deep throat which i also recieved in a swap. I love them both, u can apply as heavily or as softly as you would like. I love how you can build the intensity of these blushes and still not look like a clown. The daft pink blush i bought at MAC, it was my FIRST MAC item and my first time in the store in general, sux i didnt buy smooth merge then but hey at least i have it now :)
Its a bit more intense in reality, the lighting and the flash make it look a bit sheer but its more pigmented than that. In a way it depends on how you want to apply it like the NARS blushes, sheer or heavy. But if you apply heavy, you might look weird since these have shimmers like crazy!
Gorgeous!!
I rubbed my fingers in there and swirled them around and swatched so it wont come up on ur cheeks like this, it applies much nicer and sheerer ( dunno if thats a word) with a brush. I use teh Sigma ss168 for blush.
These are my first NARS lipglosses, and they were my first NARS purchase. I got them at marshalls during the holidays. I got them all in a pack for like $24.99 or $29.99 I dont remember. I remember putting them back cuz i said i dont need them but a few seconds later i changed my mind and said i def need these and it was a great bargain! The colors are rose birman, chihuahua, sweet dreams, harlow, giza and boogie nights. They arent in teh order as in the pic. I love how they all worked with my face and skintone except that rlly weird dark one :(
I have been eyeing Ben Nye for a while now and have been wanting something from there. So i swapped with a girl for something and she added this along. It can be used anywhere on the face, as an eyeshadow, liner or watever u think of. Its like this in the beginning, the product settles on the bottom and you just have to shake well before using :)

After its been shook up it should look like this and is ready to apply.
So sparkly!! I love glitter and shimmery things, im a total girly girl :) I havent tried it yet but i will soon :)

YSL Haul & swatches!!

Here are some of the items i have accumulated over the past few weeks. Im super happy and proud of my growing collection of ysl cosmetics :)
They have the most luxurious packaging, i know it gets smudgy with the fingertips but you still cant resist a ysl product, well at least i cant :p

This is a lipstick i recieved in a swap on makeupalley. Its such a cute color plus the adorable pink packaging, i just couldnt say no. This might seem like really pink and all but it is a nice sparkly sheer pink, can be used as an everyday color. Its called pink diamond #11.
As you can tell it goes on pretty sheer. It might look like its loaded with sparkles but fear not, its only the reflection of my light lol.
My next item is this matte foundation i have been wanting to try. I also really want to try their teint resist and im going to splurge on it pretty soon :) This is the second lightest shade they had in #2 blonde. It has an spf of 10, not much i know but you can always apply your sunscreen before it or mix it with the foundation. It is also oil free so it wont clog your pores. This shade isnt really light, i mean im not tan but no where near pale or white. Im nw20 in winter and nw25-30 in summer. I got this for the winter days but it has such a nice color, it wouldnt look white at all in the summer. But i will update you guys on that. I keep getting off track lol sorry, anyways, i feel this is kind of like too matte. I tried it once but i dont feel like it gave me a dewy finish and i feel like if i applied powder it would make me look dried up. Im gonna give it a second try since im always switching foundations and will try it out in a couple of days and update you on how i have been liking it.
This is the consistency, its like a thick creamy texture. More thicker than creamy, but it doesnt feel heavy at all on your skin. The key to making your foundation appear flawless is the right tool (brush) and blending blending blending! Lots of people prefer the MAC or Sigma ss187. I feel that the 187 doesnt do me justice so i tried another brush the ss109. This is THE best brush i have EVER used for liquid foundation. It might not work on everyone but im saying on me its awesome, other beauty gurus on youtube love it as well such as fafinettex3. Also another thing is moisturize and prime before applying your foundation!! This also helps in making your foundation look airbrushed. I might have been tired that day, not blended enough or didnt use the right moisturizer. Different moisturizers do make a difference in how your make up looks. Some make it look better than others.
As you can see it looks pretty thick and not dewy. This is probably not good for dry skin :(

And this is the foundation blended out. As you see, its not that bad, it looks pretty good but like i said its all about technique.
The one on the left is an eyeshadow quad kinda since it does have 4 colors. Its called absinthe green #3. And the one on the right is a powder mixed with the highlighter, bronzer, and blush all together. I have no idea what it is called, all it says is palette collection. Its a limited edition item and was around for the celebration of 30 years of ysl. These babies would have cost me $54 -$60. Thanks to the best site ever called beautyisrelative.com They cost me $15 each!! Isnt that an awesome deal!! I was so happy that i found this site like 3 weeks ago, and it was perfect since i have just gotten into this line. So yay for that! They also carry bobbi brown, MAC, chanel, Lancome, and more :)
Here are some swatches of the wonderful powder. It can also be used as a setting powder for lighter skin tones.
And here are the swatches of the shadows. They are really pigmented and you can tell the quality isnt cheap. I think they are really nice shadows and im planning on getting more very soon, later lovelys :)
