Mac MSF natural review

I have heard many great things about this product all over. It had great reviews from many sites, people were going crazy about it how its amazing and all, well i have other views on it. First off, many say this is a great powder foundation, its flawless and lightweight. Wrong, its very powdery, cakey, and blotchy. Now i don't give up on my products so soon. I try them with different moisturizers, primers, foundation, brushes, and other techniques to see what works best. I tried everything and the powder still looked so cakey on me, if i applied a pound of this powder or just a sweep, the outcome was the same. There was nothing i could do to make the powdery look go away, using fix+, model in a bottle and all that jazz, nothing worked.

The staying power is not great either. So then i wanted to use it as a setting powder for my cream and liquid foundations. I had the same exact problem, so cakey!! I don't understand how some say that this powder will never make you look cakey, no matter how much you put on. Wrong! It is very cakey. I have normal, combo skin. Normal cheeks and oily t zone. So yea this is my least favorite powder, it is cakey, no coverage, and bad staying powder. Don't waste your money on this girls, and for those of you who have it and it works for you, thats great. If you are wondering, my favorite powder foundation/setting powder is the Chanel double perfection and i use the shade 90 creme beige.

MAC Pink Plaid lipstick

I had another set of MAC items that i had to b2m and so i picked up this little bad boy. Pink Plaid. I have a wide range of crazy colors and thought that i should go for something a bit more calm and subtle and this was perfect for an everyday go to lipstick.

It's a beautiful finish, i love it and it goes great with my skintone. Its not a loud color but not too nude where it goes unnoticed. Its a perfect pop of pink.

MAC Haul!!!

Went to watch Get him to the greek yesterday which was right next to the mall so i decided to go to MAC real quick since i have been wanting a few things. Enjoy! And no i didnt get anything from the To the beach collection, i really dont think its all that.

The lipstick without the box was a b2m :)

Im proud to say that this is my first MAC brush!! As you saw everything else i have is Sigma which are my good brushes, Sonia Kashuk and a couple of others from either Target, Coastal Scents or unknown but work good lol. Anyways, this is the MAC 217, almost everyones favorite. I have been wanting this for a REALLY long time and finally decided to get it, after much research i felt that it was time. I have not used it yet but im very excited to :) Its one of their cheaper brushes too, it was $22.50.

This is my B2m lipstick in pink nouveau, i have also been wanting this gorgeous barbie pink for sometime now.

And this is the LE lipstick metal maven from the starflash collection. They had some in stock and im happy i got my hands on it. I have a lipgloss this same color but a bit more pigmented and im running low and i have no idea what the name of the gloss was so i saw this lipstick and was similar so i had to have it.

Finally got the MAC brush cleanser. I wanted the Sephora one but it was $6 for 2 oz. and $14 for like 4 or 5 oz. That seems stupid since all it does is clean whereas this MAC one is 7.9 oz. for $11 and it cleans, conditions, and has all these good things for your brushes so it was a no brainer, had to pick this one.

I read a lot abouit this cleanser and seen videos that people say that if you pour straight from the MAC bottle on to the napkin you will use a lot of product and go through the bottle faster, so its better to put it in a spray bottle where you use less product and have the bottle for longer and it still gets the same job done :)

Had to get my wipes, these are a staple product. I get the 45 pack because i feel like the 100 pack might get dry by the time i get to the last few wipes. And its summer and i dont like wearing foundation everyday, which means it will take even longer for them to finish and plus i only use these when im really lazy and dont feel like going to the sink.

I also picked up this prep + prime skin base which is basically a primer. I wanted to give it a go and see how it works. Will probably do an update later telling you if you should buy it or pass it.

The many uses of MAC Fix+

I purchased my first ever MAC fix+ from a CCO about a month ago and i love it! Mine is teh fix+ rose which is limited edition and can only be found in some CCO's, the regular one is permanent at any MAC store.

The Uses :

I use this to freshen up my face if it gets too hot or humid out.

I use it after i apply my powder or foundation to make my face look more natural not cakey or powdery.

I love using it with my pigments or shadows that can be used wet, i dunno if all shadows can be used wet.

It is also a setting spray, so when you're done with your make up you spray this on to set your make up so that it doesnt run down on a hot day, that it holds everything in place and to make your make up last longer.

With the great ingredients in this product, when you refresh your face it also soothes and relieves sunburn!

It can be used as a moisturizing toner, after you remove your make up.

It can also be used as an after shave spray. After you shave any area you spray this on to sooth the area and relieve some redness.

This can also be used with shadows if you want to use them as liners on your top or bottom lid.

And lastly, it can also be used for a dry scalp or if you want to refresh your hair, just spray and style as you want.

So i picked out my 3 favorite pigments and put them through a test to really see a difference in how they apply.

And here are the swatches of the results, obviously the left side is with no fix+ and the right side is. The color is so much more vibrant, and im sure with a base it would look even better, so i look forward to putting my fix+ to good use. I hope some tips of using the fix+ will be helpful to you guys!

Swap, MAC, & Marshalls Haul

A little swap i wanted to share with y'all :)
I told u guys ill be getting the smooth merge soon! OMG i can't believe i finally have it, i have been looking left and right for this and i didnt rlly want to fork out $40 for it plus shipping from ebay and other sites. But i was willing to sadly lol. I swapped it for perfect topping, since it was so alike to my perfect topping msf. I love that it has some color and its not only shimmer.

Here are the famous NARS blushes, mata hari and deep throat which i also recieved in a swap. I love them both, u can apply as heavily or as softly as you would like. I love how you can build the intensity of these blushes and still not look like a clown. The daft pink blush i bought at MAC, it was my FIRST MAC item and my first time in the store in general, sux i didnt buy smooth merge then but hey at least i have it now :)
Its a bit more intense in reality, the lighting and the flash make it look a bit sheer but its more pigmented than that. In a way it depends on how you want to apply it like the NARS blushes, sheer or heavy. But if you apply heavy, you might look weird since these have shimmers like crazy!
Gorgeous!!
I rubbed my fingers in there and swirled them around and swatched so it wont come up on ur cheeks like this, it applies much nicer and sheerer ( dunno if thats a word) with a brush. I use teh Sigma ss168 for blush.
These are my first NARS lipglosses, and they were my first NARS purchase. I got them at marshalls during the holidays. I got them all in a pack for like $24.99 or $29.99 I dont remember. I remember putting them back cuz i said i dont need them but a few seconds later i changed my mind and said i def need these and it was a great bargain! The colors are rose birman, chihuahua, sweet dreams, harlow, giza and boogie nights. They arent in teh order as in the pic. I love how they all worked with my face and skintone except that rlly weird dark one :(
I have been eyeing Ben Nye for a while now and have been wanting something from there. So i swapped with a girl for something and she added this along. It can be used anywhere on the face, as an eyeshadow, liner or watever u think of. Its like this in the beginning, the product settles on the bottom and you just have to shake well before using :)

After its been shook up it should look like this and is ready to apply.
So sparkly!! I love glitter and shimmery things, im a total girly girl :) I havent tried it yet but i will soon :)
